नारदेन गरुडात्मजानां नामकीर्तनम् | Nārada’s Enumeration of Garuḍa’s Descendants
असुरा: कालखज्जाश्व तथा विष्णुपदोद्धवा: । नैर्नता यातुधानाश्र ब्रह्मपादोद्धवाश्व ये
asurāḥ kālakhajjāśvā tathā viṣṇupadoddhavāḥ | nairṛtā yātudhānāś ca brahmapādoddhavāś ca ye, mātale |
Disse Nārada: “Ó Mātali, aqui habitam os Asuras chamados Kālakhajja, nascidos dos pés de Bhagavān Viṣṇu; e também os Nairṛtas e os Yātudhānas — terríveis, de grandes presas, velozes como o vento que avança, poderosos em feitos e dotados de forças de ilusão — que se diz terem surgido dos pés de Brahmā.”
