Nārada’s Enumeration of Garuḍa’s Descendants
The verse highlights a realm of extraordinary abundance where nature fulfills wishes effortlessly, implicitly contrasting such marvels with human restlessness driven by desire and the ethical need to govern desire rather than be governed by it.
Nārada is describing a wondrous landscape: cloud-like mountains with cascading waters and trees that provide desired flowers and fruits and can move at will, emphasizing the marvel and richness of the place being depicted.
