अक्षयाणि किलैतानि विवर्तन्ते सम मातले । अनुभावप्रयुक्तानि सुरैरवजितानि ह

Transliteration

akṣayāṇi kilaitāni vivartante sma mātale | anubhāva-prayuktāni surair avajitāni ha deva-sārathe ||

Translation

Kaṇva disse: “De fato, ó Mātali, estas armas são imperecíveis. Quando postas em movimento por seu poder inerente, abatem o inimigo e então retornam à mão de seu legítimo senhor. Outrora os Dānava as empregavam conforme sua força; mas agora os deuses as conquistaram e as trouxeram para sob sua autoridade, ó cocheiro dos Devas.”
