Transliteration

tasyāḥ pradānasamayaṃ mātaliḥ saha bhāryayā | jñātvā vimamṛśe rājan tatparaḥ paricintayan ||

Translation

Ó rei, ao saber que chegara o tempo de dá-la em casamento, Mātali—com a mente fixa nesse assunto—deliberou e refletiu cuidadosamente junto com sua esposa.
