Kṛṣṇa at Duryodhana’s House: Refusal of Hospitality and Departure to Vidura (कृष्णस्य धार्तराष्ट्रनिवेशनगमनम्)
गत्वा ब्रूहि महाबाहो सर्वशस्त्रभूृतां वरम् । अर्जुन पाण्डवं वीर द्रौपद्या: पदवीं चर
gatvā brūhi mahābāho sarvaśastrabhṛtāṃ varam | arjuna pāṇḍavaṃ vīra draupadyāḥ padavīṃ cara ||
Vaiśaṃpāyana disse: “Vai e dize a Arjuna, o herói Pāṇḍava de braços poderosos—o primeiro entre todos os que empunham armas—que prossiga pelo caminho indicado por Draupadī.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights disciplined action guided by trusted counsel: even the foremost warrior is urged to follow a specifically indicated course, suggesting that strength should be directed by right guidance and purposeful strategy.
A messenger is instructed to go to the Pāṇḍavas and convey to Arjuna—praised as the best among armed men—that he should proceed according to the path or plan pointed out by Draupadī.
