Kṛṣṇa at Duryodhana’s House: Refusal of Hospitality and Departure to Vidura (कृष्णस्य धार्तराष्ट्रनिवेशनगमनम्)
अम्मिंक्षेदागते काले मिथ्या चातिक्रमिष्यति । लोकसम्भाविता: सन्त: सुनृशंसं करिष्यथ
ammiṁkṣed āgate kāle mithyā cātikramiṣyati | lokasambhāvitāḥ santaḥ sunṛśaṁsaṁ kariṣyatha |
Vaiśampāyana disse: “Quando chegar o tempo devido, se ainda assim não agirdes, ele passará em vão. Sois homens honrados e estimados pelo mundo; se cometêsseis um ato de extrema crueldade e desonra, então, por ficardes manchados por tal conduta impiedosa, eu vos renegaria para sempre. Meus filhos, quando chegar a hora, deveis estar prontos até mesmo para entregar a vida.”
