Kṛṣṇa at Duryodhana’s House: Refusal of Hospitality and Departure to Vidura (कृष्णस्य धार्तराष्ट्रनिवेशनगमनम्)
The verse asserts that dharma is not merely an ideal but an effective moral reality: if dharma exists, then the divinely indicated outcome will be fulfilled. It also highlights Kṛṣṇa as the reliable accomplisher of what aligns with dharma.
Vaiśampāyana, as narrator, recalls a prior divine proclamation (ākāśavāṇī) and expresses confidence that Kṛṣṇa will successfully complete what was foretold—framing the unfolding events of the Udyoga Parva within a dharmic and providential horizon.
