कुरुसभायां केशवागमन-सत्कारविधानम् / Preparations to Honor Keśava at the Kuru Court
स शालिभवन रम्यं सर्वसस्यसमाचितम् | सुखं परमधर्मिष्ठम भ्यगाद् भरतर्षभ,भरतश्रेष्ठ) उस समय धर्मकार्यके लिये अत्यन्त उपयोगी तथा सम्पूर्ण सस्य-सम्पत्तिसे भरे हुए अगहनी धानके मनोहर खेत देखते हुए भगवान् बड़े सुखसे यात्रा कर रहे थे
sa śālibhavana ramyaṃ sarvasasyasamācitam | sukhaṃ paramadharmiṣṭham abhyagād bharatarṣabha ||
Disse Vaiśampāyana: Ó touro entre os Bhāratas, ele prosseguiu com facilidade, contemplando uma bela extensão de arrozais maduros, ricamente preenchida com toda espécie de grãos. Tal abundância era tida como a mais apropriada para os deveres do dharma e para a sustentação da retidão.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse links material abundance—especially well-tended crops—to the support of dharma: prosperity is portrayed as ethically meaningful when it sustains righteous duties, social welfare, and orderly life.
