कृत्वा पौर्वाल्निकं कृत्यं स्‍्नात: शुचिरलंकृत: । उपतस्थे विवस्वन्तं पावकं च जनार्दन:

Transliteration

kṛtvā paurvāhṇikaṃ kṛtyaṃ snātaḥ śucir alaṅkṛtaḥ | upatasthe vivasvantaṃ pāvakaṃ ca janārdanaḥ ||

Translation

Tendo cumprido os deveres matinais prescritos e, após banhar-se—limpo, puro e devidamente adornado—Janārdana (Kṛṣṇa) prestou veneração a Vivasvān (o Sol) e a Pāvaka (o Fogo).
