Omens and Reception During Keśava’s Departure
Even as political negotiations conclude, righteous leaders seek wise counsel and remain mindful of dharma; the bond of friendship and guidance (Kṛṣṇa as adviser) becomes ethically crucial when decisions may lead to war.
After Yudhiṣṭhira takes leave of Kṛṣṇa, Arjuna—still walking along—addresses Kṛṣṇa, described with honorific epithets (invincible, slayer of enemy heroes), setting up Arjuna’s forthcoming words or request.
