The verse highlights how righteous authority is communicated not only through words but through symbols and conduct: the Garuḍa-emblem and the chariot’s grave sound signify protection, resolve, and divine alignment, reinforcing Kṛṣṇa’s stature in a moment of impending conflict.
Vaiśampāyana describes a chariot named Sughoṣa, adorned with a Garuḍa-marked banner. As it moves, its wheels produce a deep, resonant sound, and this spectacle is said to further magnify Kṛṣṇa’s greatness.
