ततः किरीटी तस्यानुप्रविवेश महामना: । पश्चाच्चैव स कृष्णस्य प्रह्दोडतिषछ्ठत् कृताञ्जलि:,तत्पश्चात् महामना किरीटधारी अर्जुनने श्रीकृष्णके शयनागारमें प्रवेश किया। वे बड़ी नम्रतासे हाथ जोड़े हुए श्रीकृष्णके चरणोंकी ओर खड़े रहे
tataḥ kirīṭī tasyānupraviveśa mahāmanāḥ | paścāccaiva sa kṛṣṇasya prahvoda-tiṣṭhat kṛtāñjaliḥ ||
Então o magnânimo Kirīṭī (Arjuna) entrou naquele aposento depois dele. Ficando atrás, permaneceu diante de Kṛṣṇa com as mãos postas, inclinado em humildade — imagem de reverência disciplinada e autocontrole num momento carregado de consequências políticas e morais.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights maryādā (proper conduct) and vinaya (humility): even the foremost warrior approaches Kṛṣṇa with reverence and restraint, suggesting that ethical counsel and righteous action begin with disciplined respect rather than pride.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that Arjuna (Kirīṭī) enters Kṛṣṇa’s chamber after him and stands behind with folded hands, humbly positioned near Kṛṣṇa’s feet—signaling deference and readiness to receive guidance in the tense pre-war context of the Udyoga Parva.
