सहदेवस्तु माद्रेय: शूर: संक्रन्दनो युधि । स्वमंशं कल्पयामास श्यालं ते सुबलात्मजम्,महाराज! युद्धमें इन्द्रके समान पराक्रमी शूरवीर माद्रीनन्दन सहदेवने आपके साले सुबलपुत्र शकुनिको अपना भाग निश्चित किया है
sahadevas tu mādreyaḥ śūraḥ saṃkrandano yudhi | svam aṃśaṃ kalpayāmāsa śyālaṃ te subalātmajam, mahārāja |
Sañjaya disse: “Ó rei, Sahadeva—o heróico filho de Mādrī, semelhante a Indra no combate—marcou como seu oponente destinado teu cunhado Śakuni, filho de Subala.”
