Udyoga Parva, Adhyāya 55 — Sañjaya’s Report on Pāṇḍava Readiness and Arjuna’s Dhvaja

The verse underscores preparedness and rightful capability in a dharmic conflict: the young princes are supported by steeds equal in strength and speed, and the mention of divine gifts suggests that power and resources are ultimately contingent and should be used responsibly in the service of duty.
Sañjaya continues describing the martial arrangements: powerful, swift, multi-colored, well-bred horses—said to be divinely bestowed—carry Abhimanyu (son of Subhadrā) and the sons of Draupadī, highlighting the Pandava side’s readiness and the prominence of these young warriors.
