Sañjaya’s Report
यदा शिनीनामधिपो मयोक्तः: शरै: परान् मेघ इव प्रवर्षन् | प्रच्छादयिष्यत्यरिहा योधमुख्यां- स्तदा युद्ध धार्तराष्ट्रोडन्वतप्स्यत्
yadā śinīnām adhipo mayoktaḥ śaraiḥ parān megha iva pravarṣan | pracchādayiṣyaty arihā yodhamukhyāṁs tadā yuddhe dhārtarāṣṭro ’dunvatapsyat ||
Sañjaya disse: “Quando o senhor dos Śinis—instigado por mim—fizer chover flechas sobre o inimigo como uma nuvem que despeja chuva, e encobrir aqueles guerreiros principais que lhe são hostis, então, nessa batalha, o filho de Dhṛtarāṣṭra será abrasado pela angústia.”
