ययोश्षित्तेन वा चित्तं निभृतं निभृतेन वा । समेति प्रज्ञया प्रज्ञा तयोमैत्री न जीय॑ति
yayōḥ cittēna vā cittaṁ nibhṛtaṁ nibhṛtēna vā | samēti prajñayā prajñā tayōḥ maitrī na jīyati ||
Disse Vidura: Quando a mente de duas pessoas se encontra com a mente—quando confidências guardadas respondem a confidências guardadas, e a compreensão ressoa com a compreensão—então a amizade entre elas não definha. Tal consonância de intento interior e sabedoria torna o vínculo duradouro e difícil de romper.
