Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 30: Sañjaya’s Departure and Yudhiṣṭhira’s Commission of Greetings
अभिवाद्य च वक्तव्यस्ततो5स्माकं पितामह: । भवता शन््तनोर्वशो निमग्न: पुनरुद्धृत:
abhivādya ca vaktavyas tato 'smākaṁ pitāmahaḥ | bhavatā śāntanor vaṁśo nimagnaḥ punar uddhṛtaḥ ||
Depois de oferecer respeitosas saudações, dirige-te então ao nosso venerável avô. Dize-lhe: «Avô! Tu resgataste e reergueste a linhagem de Śāntanu quando ela havia afundado no declínio. Agora, refletindo mais uma vez com teu próprio discernimento, faz algo para que todos os teus netos possam viver juntos em afeto mútuo.»
