अपि चैतन्मया राजन्‌ नारदे5पि निवेदितम्‌ | व्यासे चैव तथा कार्य तौ चोभौ मामवोचताम्‌

Transliteration

api caitanmāyā rājan nārade ’pi niveditam | vyāse caiva tathā kārya tau cobhau mām avocatām ||

Translation

Além disso, ó rei, relatei este mesmo assunto ao sábio divino Nārada, e do mesmo modo deveria ser levado a Vyāsa. Ambos me disseram: “Ó rei, não deves entristecer-te nem um pouco a respeito da filha do rei de Kāśī. Quem, por esforço humano, pode reverter o que o destino ordenou?”
