गत्वाहं जामदग्न्यं तु प्रयाचिष्ये कुरूद्वह । भीष्मेण सह मा योत्सी: शिष्येणेति पुन: पुन:,“कुरुश्रेष्ठ! मैं स्वयं जाकर जमदग्निनन्दन परशुरामजीसे बारंबार याचना करूँगी कि आप अपने शिष्य भीष्मके साथ युद्ध न कीजिये

Transliteration

gatvāhaṃ jāmadagnyaṃ tu prayāciṣye kurūdvaha | bhīṣmeṇa saha mā yotsīḥ śiṣyeṇeti punaḥ punaḥ ||

Translation

Bhishma disse: “Ó o mais ilustre entre os Kurus, irei eu mesmo ao filho de Jamadagni, Parashurama, e repetidas vezes lhe suplicarei: ‘Não lutes contra Bhishma — teu próprio discípulo.’”
