सुतां काश्यस्य कौरव्य मत्प्रियार्थ महामते । नहि ते विद्यते शान्तिरन्‍्यथा कुरुनन्दन,तब परशुरामजीने क्रोधसे लाल आँखें करके मुझसे कहा--“महामते भीष्म! तुम मुझे अपना गुरु तो समझते हो; परंतु मेरा प्रिय करनेके लिये काशिराजकी इस कन्याको ग्रहण नहीं करते हो; किंतु कुरुनन्दन! ऐसा किये बिना तुम्हें शान्ति नहीं मिल सकती

sutāṃ kāśyasya kauravya matpriyārtha mahāmate | nahi te vidyate śāntir anyathā kurunandana ||

Rāma (Paraśurāma) disse: “Ó Kauravya, ó sábio Bhīṣma—aceita, por minha causa, a filha de Kāśya. Caso contrário, ó alegria dos Kurus, não encontrarás paz.”
