अम्बाया रामजामदग्न्यशरणगमनम्
Ambā Seeks Refuge with Rāma Jāmadagnya
निवेदितं मया होतद् दुःखमूलं यथातथम् । विधान तत्र भगवन् कर्तुमर्हसि युक्तित:
niveditaṃ mayā hy etad duḥkhamūlaṃ yathātatham | vidhānaṃ tatra bhagavan kartum arhasi yuktitaḥ ||
Eu te expus com verdade a própria raiz da minha dor, tal como ela é. Ó venerável, deves agora determinar—por raciocínio sólido—qual é, neste caso, o curso de ação justo e apropriado.
अकृतव्रण उवाच
Having stated the truth about one’s suffering, one should seek a decision grounded in yुक्ति (reasoned judgment) and न्याय (justice), not in impulse—placing the matter before a competent, respected authority to determine the proper dharmic course.
Akṛtavraṇa addresses a revered figure, saying he has already disclosed the true cause of his distress and now requests that the addressee decide and implement an appropriate, just response through careful reasoning.
