Bhīṣma’s Appraisal of Kaurava Champions (भीष्मकृतः रथिनां गुणनिरूपणम्)
वैशम्पायन उवाच ततस्तत् संजयस्तस्मै सर्वमेव न्यवेदयत् । यथोक्तं कुरुवृद्धेन भीष्मेणामिततेजसा,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं-जनमेजय! तदनन्तर संजयने अमिततेजस्वी कुरुवृद्ध भीष्मने जैसा कहा था, वह सब कुछ राजा धृतराष्ट्रको बताया
vaiśampāyana uvāca
tatas tat sañjayas tasmai sarvam eva nyavedayat |
yathoktaṁ kuruvṛddhena bhīṣmeṇāmitatejasā ||
Vaiśampāyana disse: Em seguida, Sañjaya relatou-lhe (a Dhṛtarāṣṭra) tudo por inteiro, exatamente como fora dito por Bhīṣma, o ancião dos Kurus, de esplendor incomensurável.
