Educational Q&A

The verse highlights disciplined preparedness: strength is not only in wealth and splendor (gold-adorned chariots) but in protection, order, and strategic defense—making a force ‘unassailable’ through organization.

Vaiśampāyana describes a vast array of chariots, richly decorated yet tightly guarded, emphasizing that the army’s chariot divisions were arranged and defended so well that enemies would find them difficult to penetrate.
