ममाप्येते महाराज भवद्धिर्य उदाहता: । नेतारस्तव सेनाया मता विक्रान्तयोधिन:,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--राजन! बुद्धिमान्‌ धर्मराज युधिष्ठिरकी यह बात सुनकर कमलनयन भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्णने अर्जुनकी ओर देखते हुए कहा--“महाराज! आपलोगोंने जिन-जिन वीरोंके नाम लिये हैं, ये सभी मेरी रायमें भी सेनापति होनेके योग्य हैं; क्योंकि ये सभी बड़े पराक्रमी योद्धा हैं

mamāpy ete mahārāja bhavadbhir ye udāhṛtāḥ | netāras tava senāyā matā vikrāntayodhinaḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana disse: “Ó Rei, esses mesmos heróis que mencionaste são, a meu ver também, aptos a liderar o teu exército; pois todos são guerreiros de valor comprovado.”
