Karna–Krishna Dialogue: Omens and Dream-Signs
यदा द्रक्ष्यसि संग्रामे माद्रीपुत्रो महाबलौ । वाहिनी धार्तराष्ट्राणां क्षोभयन्तौ गजाविव
sañjaya uvāca | yadā drakṣyasi saṅgrāme mādrīputrau mahābalau | vāhinīṁ dhārtarāṣṭrāṇāṁ kṣobhayantau gajāv iva ||
Disse Sañjaya: “Quando, no campo de batalha, vires os dois poderosos filhos de Mādrī — Nakula e Sahadeva — revolvendo e lançando em confusão o exército dos filhos de Dhṛtarāṣṭra como dois grandes elefantes, a realidade da guerra se erguerá diante dos teus olhos com toda a sua força. Nesse instante, não te restarão as noções confortadoras de uma era justa — apenas a dura consequência de ter escolhido o conflito em vez da conciliação.”
