अपन कातज बा | अरूण त्रयस्त्रिशर्दाधिकशततमोब& ध्याय: कुन्तीके द्वारा विदुलोपाख्यानका आरम्भ
kunty uvāca | atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṁ purātanam | vidulāyāś ca saṁvādaṁ putrasya ca parantapa ||
Kuntī disse: “Aqui também se cita um antigo precedente histórico: o diálogo de Vidulā com seu filho, ó flagelo dos inimigos—um relato em que Vidulā repreende severamente o filho quando ele retorna do campo de batalha em fuga, e o incita novamente ao dever da guerra e à honra.”
