नहुष बोले--सुन्दरी! तुम मुझसे यहाँ जैसा कह रही हो ऐसा ही हो। इसके अनुसार पता लगाकर तुम्हें मेरे पास आ जाना चाहिये; इस सत्यको सदा याद रखना ।। नहुषेण विसृष्टा च निश्चक्राम ततः शुभा । बृहस्पतिनिकेतं च सा जगाम यशस्विनी
nahuṣa uvāca—sundari! tvaṃ mayātra yathā bravīṣi tathaiva bhavatu; etad-anusṛtya jñātvā mām upāgaccha; imaṃ satyaṃ sadā smara. nahuṣeṇa visṛṣṭā ca niścakrāma tataḥ śubhā; bṛhaspati-niketaṃ ca sā jagāma yaśasvinī.
Nahuṣa disse: “Bela dama, que seja exatamente como dizes aqui. Procede assim, apura o assunto e depois vem a mim; lembra-te sempre desta verdade.” Assim dispensada por Nahuṣa, a mulher auspiciosa e ilustre partiu e foi à morada de Bṛhaspati.
