Adhyāya 128 — Proposal to Restrain Keśava; Sātyaki’s Warning and Vidura–Dhṛtarāṣṭra Counsel
प्रयच्छ पाण्डुपुत्राणां यथोचितमरिंदम । यदीच्छसि सहामात्यो भोक्तुमर्ध प्रदीयताम्,'शत्रुओंका दमन करनेवाले पुत्र! यदि तुम अपने मन्त्रियोंसहित राज्य भोगना चाहते हो तो पाण्डवोंको उनका यथोचित भाग--आधा राज्य दे दो
vaiśampāyana uvāca | prayaccha pāṇḍuputrāṇāṃ yathocitam ariṃdama | yadīcchasi sahāmātyo bhoktum ardhaṃ pradīyatām ||
Vaiśampāyana disse: “Ó subjugador de inimigos, concede aos filhos de Pāṇḍu o que lhes é devido. Se de fato desejas desfrutar da realeza junto com teus ministros, então que se lhes dê metade do reino.”
