बहुविघ्न: सुरा: काल: काल: कालं॑ नयिष्यति । गर्वितो बलवांश्षापि नहुषो वरसंश्रयात्‌

Transliteration

bahuvighnaḥ surāḥ kālaḥ kālaḥ kālaṁ nayiṣyati | garvito balavānś cāpi nahuṣo varasaṁśrayāt ||

Translation

“Ó deuses, o tempo está repleto de muitos obstáculos. O Tempo — sim, o próprio Tempo — o conduzirá ao fim que lhe está destinado. Nahūṣa, amparado pelo poder do vosso dom, tornou-se forte e arrogante; contudo é o Tempo que o entregará às mandíbulas da morte.”
