नारदकथितं माधव्याः तपश्चर्या–ययातेः स्वर्गविचारः | Nārada on Mādhavī’s Asceticism and the Scrutiny of Yayāti in Heaven

ऑपन--माज छा जि: एकोनविशर्त्याधिकशततमो< ध्याय: गालवका छ: सौ घोड़ोंके साथ माधवीको विश्वामित्रजीकी सेवामें देना और उनके द्वारा उसके गर्भसे अष्टक नामक पुत्रकी उत्पत्ति होनेके बाद उस कन्याको ययातिके यहाँ लौटा देना नारद उवाच गालवं वैनतेयो5थ प्रहसन्निदमब्रवीत्‌ । दिष्ट्या कृतार्थ पश्यामि भवन्तमिह वै द्विज

nārada uvāca |

gālavaṃ vainateyo 'tha prahasann idam abravīt |

diṣṭyā kṛtārthaṃ paśyāmi bhavantam iha vai dvija ||

Nārada disse: Então Vainateya (Garuḍa), sorrindo, falou a Gālava estas palavras: “Por boa fortuna, ó brâmane, vejo que aqui alcançaste o teu propósito.”
