Udyoga Parva Adhyāya 103: Garuḍa’s Protest, Viṣṇu’s Demonstration, and Counsel Toward Śama
आर्यक उवाच व्रियमाणे तथा पौत्रे पुत्रे च निधनं गते । कथमिच्छामि देवर्षे गुणकेशीं स्नुषां प्रति
Āryaka uvāca: Vriyamāṇe tathā pautre putre ca nidhanaṁ gate | katham icchāmi devarṣe guṇakeśīṁ snuṣāṁ prati ||
Āryaka disse: “Ó vidente divino, quando meu neto está à beira da morte e meu filho também já encontrou o fim, como poderia eu, em tal tempo de luto, desejar Guṇakeśī como nora?”
