चौथे पारणमें वाजपेय-यज्ञका और पाँचवेंमें उससे दूना फल प्राप्त होता है। वह पुरुष उदयकालके सूर्य तथा प्रज्वलित अग्निके समान तेजस्वी विमानपर आरूढ़ हो देवताओंके साथ स्वर्गलोकमें जाता है और वहाँ इन्द्रभवनमें दस हजार वर्षोतक आनन्द भोगता है ।।
ṣaṣṭhe dviguṇam astīti saptame triguṇaṁ phalam | kailāsa-śikhara-ākāraṁ vaidūrya-maṇi-vedikam ||
Vaiśampāyana disse: “Na sexta observância, diz-se que o mérito é duplicado; na sétima, torna-se triplo. (A recompensa é) uma morada celeste radiante—como o cume do monte Kailāsa—assentada sobre uma plataforma incrustada de gemas vaidūrya.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse teaches that sustained, repeated religious discipline yields progressively greater merit—described in escalating multiples—and that such merit is envisioned as leading to exalted, luminous rewards (symbolized by a Kailāsa-like celestial structure on a jewel-inlaid platform).
Vaiśampāyana continues describing the graded fruits of successive observances: the sixth brings double merit, the seventh triple, and the resulting heavenly splendor is portrayed through vivid imagery of Kailāsa’s peak and a pedestal of vaidūrya gems.
