Even the most exalted heroes—praised by gods—uphold dharma through yathāvat conduct: approaching elders/leaders properly and offering due honor. Greatness is shown not only in power but in disciplined respect and ethical propriety.
Arjuna and Śrī Kṛṣṇa see Yudhiṣṭhira present and, in accordance with proper protocol, approach him and honor him. The narration highlights formal respect within the royal and dharmic order.
