Yuddha-yajña-vyākhyāna (The Battle as Sacrifice): Ambarīṣa–Indra Saṃvāda
भीष्म उवाच इत्येतच्छक्रवचनं निशम्य प्रतिगृह्म॒ च । योधानामात्मन: सिद्धिमम्बरीषो5भिपन्नवान्
bhīṣma uvāca | ityetac chakravacanaṃ niśamya pratigṛhya ca | yodhānām ātmanaḥ siddhim ambarīṣo 'bhipannavān |
Bhīṣma disse: “Ó Yudhiṣṭhira, ao ouvir essas palavras de Śakra (Indra) e aceitá-las no íntimo, o rei Ambarīṣa convenceu-se de que, para os guerreiros, o êxito e a realização surgem por si mesmos, como consequência certa do dever que lhes foi ordenado.”
