उतथ्योपदेशः—राजधर्मः, दर्पनिग्रहः, प्रजारक्षणम्

Utathya’s Instruction: Royal Dharma, Restraint of Pride, Protection of Subjects

नैव भार्या न पशवो न क्षेत्र न निवेशनम्‌ । संदृश्येत मनुष्याणां यदा पापबलं भवेत्‌,जब जगत्‌में पापका बल बढ़ जाता है, तब मनुष्योंके लिये अपनी स्त्री, अपने पशु और अपने खेत या घरका भी कुछ ठिकाना दिखायी नहीं देता

naiva bhāryā na paśavo na kṣetraṁ na niveśanam | saṁdṛśyeta manuṣyāṇāṁ yadā pāpabalaṁ bhavet ||

Utathya disse: “Quando o poder do pecado se torna forte no mundo, as pessoas não encontram amparo seguro nem mesmo naquilo que chamam de seu: nem esposa, nem gado, nem campo, nem morada.”
