राजा-दैवतत्वम् — The King as a Stabilizing ‘Daivata’ (Divine Function) in Social Order
ततो महीं परिययौ पर्जन्य इव वृष्टिमान् । शमयन् सर्वतः पापान् स्वकर्मसु च योजयन्
tato mahīṁ pariyayau parjanya iva vṛṣṭimān | śamayan sarvataḥ pāpān svakarmasu ca yojayan
Então ele percorreu a terra como uma nuvem carregada de chuva, apaziguando e lavando os pecados por toda parte, e conduzindo as pessoas a se firmarem em seus deveres justos, conforme o próprio dharma (svakarma).
