यस्मिन् नित्ये तते तन््तौ दृढे स्रगिव तिष्ठति
yasmin nitye tate tantau dṛḍhe srag iva tiṣṭhati
Bhīṣma diz: “Sobre esse fio eterno, estendido e firme, tudo permanece—como uma guirlanda sustentada por um cordão forte.” No plano ético, a imagem ensina que as muitas formas de conduta e de experiência só se mantêm coerentes quando enraizadas num princípio estável e imutável; sem tal fundamento, a ordem e o sentido desabam.
