वन्दनीयाश्व वरदा वयमप्यनुयायिन: । मनुष्याणां विशेषेण नावेक्ष्या इति मे मति:
Transliteration
vandaniyāś ca varadā vayam apy anuyāyinaḥ | manuṣyāṇāṁ viśeṣeṇa nāvekṣyā iti me matiḥ ||
Translation
Disse o Nāga: “Nós também somos dignos de reverência e capazes de conceder dádivas; temos nossos servidores e seguidores. Contudo, em meu juízo, não somos vistos com facilidade—especialmente pelos humanos.”
