गोमत्यास्त्वेष पुलिने त्वददर्शनसमुत्सुक: । आसीनो वर्तयन ब्रह्म ब्राह्मण: संशितव्रत:

Transliteration

gomatyāstv eṣa puline tvad-adarśana-samutsukaḥ | āsīno vartayan brahma brāhmaṇaḥ saṃśita-vrataḥ ||

Translation

Bhishma disse: “Na margem arenosa do rio Gomatī está sentado um brâmane de votos firmes e disciplina rigorosa. Recitando o saber védico, permanece ali, ansioso por contemplar-te.”
