अध्याय ३५१ — उञ्छवृत्ति-व्रतसिद्धेः मानुषस्य परमगतिः

Sūrya–Nāga Dialogue on the Perfected Gleaner-Ascetic

निःसंशयेषु सर्वेषु नित्यं वसति वै हरि: । ससंशयान्‌ हेतुबलान्‌ नाध्यावसति माधव:,ज्ञानके बलसे जिनके संशयका निवारण हो गया है, उन सबके भीतर सदा श्रीहरि निवास करते हैं; परंतु कुतर्कके बलसे जो संशयमें पड़े हुए हैं, उनके भीतर भगवान्‌ माधवका निवास नहीं है

niḥsaṃśayeṣu sarveṣu nityaṃ vasati vai hariḥ | sasaṃśayān hetubalān nādhyāvasati mādhavaḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana disse: Em todos aqueles cujas dúvidas foram totalmente dissipadas, Hari habita para sempre no íntimo. Mas Mādhava não permanece naqueles que continuam enredados na dúvida, sustentados apenas pela força da argumentação contenciosa.
