Sūrya–Nāga Dialogue on the Perfected Gleaner-Ascetic

The Divine is said to abide in a mind made clear by the removal of doubt through genuine knowledge and discernment; but a mind that clings to doubt through mere contentious reasoning (hetu-bala/kutarka) becomes unfit for that indwelling presence.
Vaiśampāyana continues a didactic passage in Śānti Parva, presenting a moral-spiritual criterion: inner certainty grounded in true understanding is praised, while argumentative skepticism that perpetuates doubt is criticized as a barrier to realizing God within.
