धर्मप्रतिष्ठाहेतोश्व मनुं स्वारोचिषं ततः । अध्यापयामास तदा लोकानां हितकाम्यया,फिर इस धर्मकी प्रतिष्ठाके लिये समस्त लोकोंके हितकी कामनासे उन्होंने स्वारोचिषमनुको उस समय इस धर्मका उपदेश किया

Transliteration

dharmapratiṣṭhāhetoś ca manuṃ svārociṣaṃ tataḥ | adhyāpayāmāsa tadā lokānāṃ hitakāmyayā ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana disse: E então, com o propósito mesmo de firmar o dharma, ele instruiu naquele tempo Svarociṣa Manu — movido pelo desejo do bem-estar de todos os mundos.
