अहल्याधर्षणनिमित्तं हि गौतमाद्धरिश्मश्रुतामिन्द्र: प्राप्त: कौशिकनिमित्तं चेन्द्रो मुष्कवियोगं मेषवृषणत्वं चावाप,अहल्यापर बलात्कार करनेके कारण गौतमके शापसे इन्द्रको हरिश्मश्रु (हरी दाढ़ी- मूछोंसे युक्त) होना पड़ा तथा विश्वामित्रके शापसे इन्द्रको अपना अण्डकोष खो देना पड़ा और उनके भेंड़ेके अण्डकोष जोड़े गये

Translation

Por ter violentado Ahalyā, Indra, pela maldição de Gautama, teve de ostentar barba e bigode verdes (hari-śmaśru). E, pela maldição de Viśvāmitra, Indra perdeu os próprios testículos, sendo-lhe enxertados os de um carneiro em seu lugar.
