ब्रह्माणं शितिकण्ठं च याश्षान्या देवता: स्मृता: । प्रबुद्धचर्या: सेवन्तो मामेवैष्यन्ति यत् परम्,ज्ञानी भक्त ब्रह्मा, शिव तथा दूसरे देवताओंकी निष्काम भावसे सेवा करते हुए भी अन्तमें मुझ परमात्माको ही प्राप्त होते हैं
Brahmāṇaṁ Śitikaṇṭhaṁ ca yāś cānyā devatāḥ smṛtāḥ | prabuddha-caryāḥ sevanto mām evaiṣyanti yat param ||
Arjuna disse: “Aqueles que, com disciplina desperta de conduta, veneram Brahmā, Śitikaṇṭha (Śiva) e quaisquer outras divindades de que se fala, mesmo servindo-as com espírito desinteressado, por fim alcançam a mim somente — o Supremo.”
