पितृयज्ञे नारायणतत्त्वम् — The Nārāyaṇa Grounding of Ancestral Offerings

ततो द्वैपायनसुतं बहुमानात्‌ समन्ततः । कृताञ्जलिपुटा: सर्वा निरी क्षन्ते सम देवता:

tato dvaipāyanasutaṃ bahumānāt samantataḥ | kṛtāñjalipuṭāḥ sarvā nirīkṣante sma devatāḥ ||

Então, de todos os lados e com profunda reverência, todas as deusas tutelares contemplaram Śuka, filho de Dvaipāyana. De pé, com as mãos unidas em añjali, fitavam-no com respeitosa atenção—sinal de que a autoridade moral da renúncia e da realização espiritual é honrada até mesmo pelos poderes divinos.
