गुणैर्भूतानि युज्यन्ते वियुज्यन्ते तथैव च । सर्वाणि नैतदेकस्य शोकस्थान हि विद्यते
guṇair bhūtāni yujyante viyujyante tathaiva ca | sarvāṇi naitad ekasya śokasthānaṃ hi vidyate ||
Disse Nārada: Todos os seres se unem a qualidades e bens desejáveis e, do mesmo modo, deles se separam. Esta é a condição comum de todos; a tristeza não é uma circunstância que recaia sobre uma só pessoa. Portanto, compreenda-se o luto como universal e firme-se a mente com discernimento, em vez de ser por ele dominado.
