उक्ता: स्‍्मो यद्‌ भगवता तदात्वायतिसंहितम्‌ । तन्नो मनसि संरूढं करिष्यामस्तथा च तत्‌,फिर व्यासजीसे बोले--“भगवन्‌! आपने भविष्यमें हमारे हितका विचार करके जो बातें बतायी हैं, वे हमारे मनमें बैठ गयी हैं। हम अवश्य उनका पालन करेंगे”

Transliteration

uktāḥ smo yad bhagavatā tadātvāyati-saṁhitam | tan no manasi saṁrūḍhaṁ kariṣyāmas tathā ca tat ||

Translation

Então disseram a Vyāsa: “Ó Bem-aventurado, a instrução que proferiste—adequada ao presente e reunida com o olhar voltado ao que há de vir, para o nosso bem—criou raízes firmes em nossa mente. Agiremos de acordo e a cumpriremos exatamente assim.”
