अध्याय ३२३ — श्वेतद्वीपगमनम्, यज्ञभाग-विवादः, एकान्तिभक्त्या नारायणदर्शन-नियमः (Śvetadvīpa Journey; Dispute over Sacrificial Share; Rule of Nārāyaṇa-vision through Single-minded Devotion)
Yoga is presented as an ethical discipline (yogadharma) requiring steadiness (dhāraṇā) and inner absorption, and it can be directed toward legitimate life-goals when pursued with restraint and right intention rather than ego or display.
Bhīṣma describes a figure undertaking concentrated austerities, immersing the mind in the Supreme through yoga, with the specific purpose of obtaining a son—linking spiritual practice to a dharmic household aspiration.
