The Account of Suvarṇaṣṭhīvin
सूृंजयस्याथ राजर्षे: कस्मिंश्वित् कालपर्यये । जज्ञे पुत्रो महावीर्यस्तेजसा प्रज्वलन्निव,तदनन्तर किसी समय राजर्षि सृंजयके एक पुत्र हुआ, जो अपने तेजसे प्रज्वलित-सा हो रहा था। वह महान् बलशाली था
sṛñjayasya atha rājarṣeḥ kasmiṁścit kāla-paryaye | jajñe putro mahāvīryas tejasā prajvalann iva ||
Parvata disse: “Então, ó sábio de estirpe real, numa certa volta do tempo, nasceu a Sṛñjaya um filho — de grande proeza, ardendo como se brilhasse com a própria luz. Era dotado de força extraordinária.”
