अव्यक्त–पुरुष–विवेकः (Discrimination of Avyakta/Prakṛti and Puruṣa) — Yājñavalkya’s Anvīkṣikī to Viśvāvasu
सर्वमेतद् विजानन्तो नासर्वस्य प्रबोधनात् | व्यक्ती भूता भविष्यन्ति व्यक्तस्य वशवर्तिन:
sarvam etad vijānanto nāsarvasya prabodhanāt | vyaktī bhūtā bhaviṣyanti vyaktasya vaśavartinaḥ ||
Disse Vasiṣṭha: “Aqueles que conhecem apenas toda esta vastidão manifesta, mas—por não terem sido despertados para o Supremo que transcende o todo—certamente permanecerão como seres encarnados. Presos ao domínio do manifesto, continuarão sob o seu controle, sujeitos às compulsões e aos defeitos que acompanham a condição corpórea, como o desejo e a ira.”
