Saṃhāra-krama (The Sequence of Cosmic Dissolution) — Yājñavalkya’s Discourse

भीष्म उवाच रागं मोहं तथा स्नेहं काम॑ क्रोधं च केवलम्‌ | योगाच्छित्त्वा ततो दोषान्‌ पज्चैतानू्‌ प्राप्रुवन्ति तत्‌

bhīṣma uvāca | rāgaṁ mohaṁ tathā snehaṁ kāmaṁ krodhaṁ ca kevalam | yogāc chittvā tato doṣān pañcaitān prāpnuvanti tat ||

Bhīṣma disse: “Yudhiṣṭhira, pela disciplina do yoga, o yogin corta pela raiz estas cinco faltas: apego, ilusão, afeto possessivo, desejo e ira. Tendo-as removido, alcança o estado supremo.”
